Improving your Gameplay
-
Now there are many ways to improve your gameplay. Full list below
-
1) Your weapon. In scrims (competitive games), the most used guns are M4 | AK | PSG. The same goes for normal games you will find the same scene (except they will be variances such as E-PSG, Gold AK as well as different weapons and obviously the game is a lot easier). It’s best to choose one and stick to it (at least for a while) so you can become something >> Example: Main M4… Become good with it. Doesn’t have to be the 3 mentioned but strongly advise you to use.
-
2) Gunning: "Practice makes perfect". Being able to "outgun" your opponents is critical. Learning the spray pattern of a gun will help you alot. As you will know where the bullets are going to hit as it spreads. Amongst doing simple things such as jumping in certain scenarios to make sure you outgun your opponent. Also controlling the recoil. The best AK players are the ones who can control their recoil and aim at far distances with that control. Practice controlling your gun and you will get better.
-
3) K Walking: Learning how to K Walk is extremely important. This is moving without making sound. It is essential to learn this as it allows you to move at a decent pace compared to normal walking without making noise. Having a decent headset in this case it also important as mis stepping can be heard which can win you games and give you that extra advantage. It can be done by constantly tapping CTRL 3 times per second (sounds hard but it can be done).
-
4) K Jumping: Learn how to K Jump . I don’t see this as necessary but could be useful, especially if you're sniper. This movement allows you to go further than a normal jump. Normally used by snipers, it allows you to move much quicker whilst your gun is OUT. It can be hard/tricky at first but once you've got it.. it's great. You can even rush with a sniper using K Jump and move much faster… can explain it but probably be better to look on a few tutorial or other K Jumping guides…
-
5) Joining a competitive clan (scrim): By doing this, you will need to use both your gunning skills and smartplay to beat your opponents. Thereby making you better as you play. Playing against people who are better than yourself can improve you as a player and there is no harm playing against some of the top players in SF!
-
6) Smartplay Now this is more of a natural thing, if I'm being honest. You can obviously improve your smartplay but what it is essentially being unpredictable. Smart play requires you to be smart (obviously) in your movement and thinking. Predicting enemy movement, gunning at the right time, doing the most unexpected thing in a particular scenario are all things linked to smartplay. Trying to outsmart your enemy is key especially if you want to play competitively.
-
7) Nade Points : Learning nade points and utilizing them in game will help you get those extra kills. Players will be in a safe spot all the time, if they can see the nade coming directly, they will move (usually - depending on the situation). So by using nade points you will be able to take advantage of the map. In the game you will notice players doing it but there are also many videos displaying nade points.
-
8) In training play with HUD Off and see if you can predict where the bullets would go on the targets. If you use your gun enough you should be able to estimate where the bullets would go and help you control your gun more.
