Thompson M1921 Review (Not to be confused with the M4A1 Thompson)

Overview:

The Thompson is a powerful pointman gun that has good damage, accuracy, and range, but has low mobility and ROF. It also has low recoil and low spread allowing it to be used by almost anyone of any skill level. One of its main features is its 50 ammo magazine allow you to spray around corners, prefire, and kill multiple enemies without reloading. It is similar to a Bizon, but with much greater power. However, because of its low ROF, it can be outgunned at close quarters by guns such as the Versek or MP7A1.

How Is It Obtained?

        The Thompson is a EURO capsule gun so basically anyone can win it. It costs 3,000 euro per capsule, or 1,500 euro and 50 BP per capsule. Based on my experience, it was annoying to win on individual so try to win it using the /200 option. (I spent almost 80 capsules on it!)

Damage:

        The damage of the Thompson is the highest of its class, tied with the K1A1 and only beaten by 1 damage by the Death Modus, other popular SMGs. Because of its high damage, it is good at both close quarters and mid-long distances. It can easily outgun rifles at mid ranges if you have good aim. Because of its good accuracy and high damage, aim for the upper chest or head to get the fastest kills. With its 50 ammo per magazine, you can spray or try as much as you want! However, I would recommend buying more magazines for your backpack from the shop because 50/50 ammo runs out quickly!

Range:

        Although 30 range doesn’t seem very much, it allows you to kill people at mid ranges. It is MUCH farther than guns such as the SR3M or Skorpion Evo 3 and allows you to kill people at 25-35m. You should always burst or quickly tap at ranges past 15m even if you do have small crosshairs and low recoil. It can kill enemies within 10 shots at ~25m.

Accuracy:

        The Thompson has great accuracy which is strange for a gun of its type. Its accuracy is similar to the Arachnid Bizon. The crosshairs stay extremely small even at long distances allowing you to get easy headshots. Moveshots are extremely easy so you should always strafe when shooting to prevent getting hit and to hit multiple enemies.

Conclusion:

        There is little to no recoil allowing anyone to easily use it. Although it does have low mobility, pulling out a pistol allows you to run just as fast as a fast pointman weapon. The ROF is no problem if you aim for the upperbody/head. Its ammo allows you to kill multiple enemies at once and is extremely useful in co-op aswell. Overall, I would rate this gun a 9/10 for its great abilities and features.
